Investment
In 2010, Nautricity completed a fundraising round attracting a package of equity investment together with a significant pool of matching funds, which are available to match future research and development grant funding as and when it may become available. This investment is allowing the Nautricity team to make further progress with the commercialisation of the technology and to investigate business opportunities for the commercial deployment of CoRMaT devices.
Nautricity is currently working on a number of business cases for commercial tidal arrays and welcomes interest from investors who may wish to participate in these projects.
Nautricity's wholly owned subsidiary, Argyll Tidal Ltd., has entered into an agreement for lease with the Crown Estate to build a 3 MW tidal array off the Mull of Kintyre.
